Steel Apple Watch priced at $500, Gold rumoured between $4-5k, suggests report

According to the French website iGen.fr, a historically reliable source, it was suggested on Tuesday that the mid range steel Apple Watch will retail at $500. The base model has previously been stated to be priced at $349 by Apple. Apparently the steel Apple Watch will come in polished and black variations.
It was also reported by the website that the top of the range gold Apple Watch will cost between $4,000 and $5,000. With other reports suggesting $10,000, this may be good news for those with deep pockets.
Interestingly, the report also mentioned possible release dates. We have heard Spring from Apple, but the French website is even more specific. iGen claims we will see the Apple Watch in stores before Valentines Day.
As always this comes as good news to us at Create Pro, we can’t wait to get our hands on the Apple Watch. Whether or not we’ll be wearing them around the office depends on how well the device actually functions, but we’re excited to test the wearable out nonetheless.
