About This Mac

The 9.7-inch Wi-Fi iPad Pro introduced a smaller Pro in 2016, following the 12.9-inch model from 2015. Compared with the Air 2, A9X and Apple Pencil support expanded its creative uses, while four speakers improved media playback. True Tone adjusted the screen’s white balance, and the rear camera gained 4K video recording. The smaller canvas was easier to carry but offered less working space than the original large Pro. The cellular 9.7-inch iPad Pro added mobile data to this more portable Pro format.
