About This Mac

The fifth-generation 12.9-inch cellular iPad Pro introduced 5G to the large Pro in 2021, alongside its M1 and mini-LED upgrades. M1 replaced A12Z for demanding creative apps, while the Liquid Retina XDR screen used local dimming to give HDR material brighter highlights and deeper contrast. Thunderbolt expanded external-storage options, and Center Stage kept people framed on video calls. The large body remained a substantial handheld tablet, despite its flexibility at a desk. The Wi-Fi-only fifth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro delivered the M1 performance and mini-LED screen around wireless networks.
