About This Mac

The early 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro developed the design introduced with the 16-inch M1 Pro and M1 Max MacBook Pro. M2 Pro and M2 Max added processing and graphics capacity for demanding projects, with selected Max configurations supporting more unified memory. Wi-Fi 6E and expanded HDMI display support made it easier to fit into faster networks and ambitious desk setups. The large XDR screen, MagSafe and SD card slot remained central to its appeal, although the larger body traded easy portability for more screen space.
