The difference between the original Apple Silicon Mac mini and the 2023 model is subtle. On January 17th 2023, Apple announced the updated model with the M2 & M2 Pro chips and some other minor changes, such as Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E. The Pro model also included additional Thunderbolt ports and support for HDMI 2.1.
