How do I change my collection date for my trade-in?

When you book your trade-in collection, you’ll receive a text message with details about your collection date, time, and a link to view your options. If you need to change your collection date, don’t worry, it’s easy to do.

Here’s how you can change your trade-in collection date:

Step 1: Check Your Text Message

After you’ve confirmed your trade-in and we’ve booked your collection, you’ll receive a text message with your collection details. This will include your collection date, time, and a link to view your options. Tap the blue link In the message you received.

Step 2: Change Collection

Now you have the DPD website open you can manage your collection. Tap the blue plus button in the bottom right corner of the screen. You’ll then see a few options, one of which will say “change collection.” Tap this button to proceed.

Step 3: Select a New Collection Date

The first option is to change the collection date. Tap this button to select a new collection date using the date selector. You can only select dates following your original collection date.

Step 4: Confirm Your New Collection Date

After you’ve selected a new collection date, press Submit. DPD will then follow up with another message to confirm your new requested collection date.

Important things to remember:

  • Collections must be changed more than 24 hours before the original collection date. If you don’t the driver may still attempt to collect.
  • If you miss your collection and want to rebook it, a £15.00 fee will be required.
