About This Mac

Apple’s late 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro introduced M3 Pro and M3 Max without replacing the established large-screen design. Compared with the 16-inch M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro, the new graphics architecture added hardware ray tracing for compatible rendering and games, while selected Max versions offered considerably more memory. A brighter display for ordinary content and the new space black finish were the visible changes. It remained a substantial laptop, and the Pro and Max configurations offered different resources rather than a single uniform performance upgrade.
