My order has been refunded, but I didn’t ask for a refund. Why is this?

In some cases, an order may be automatically refunded without a request. This usually happens when a payment or security check doesn’t pass, or if there’s an issue that prevents us from safely processing the order.

Common reasons include:

  • Incorrect address: If the delivery or billing address appears incomplete or invalid
  • Failed 3D Secure (3DS) check: If your bank does not approve the authentication step
  • Suspicious activity: If our systems flag the transaction as potentially high risk
  • Address mismatch: If the billing address does not match the card used
  • Multiple failed attempts: If several payment attempts fail before one succeeds
  • Additional security checks: If further verification requirements are not met

Even if a payment appears to go through initially, it may still be reversed if it doesn’t pass final checks. In these situations, a refund is issued automatically.
