About This Mac

The original Wi-Fi iPad established Apple’s tablet format in 2010, with a 9.7-inch touchscreen built around reading, browsing and apps. Its A4 chip powered a larger canvas than the iPhone, while the on-screen keyboard and aluminium body made it a distinct alternative to a notebook. The design had no cameras, so it could display photographs but could not take them or make video calls. The cellular first-generation iPad added mobile data and assisted GPS to that original design.
