About This Mac

The first cellular iPad took Apple’s new tablet beyond Wi-Fi, adding 3G data and assisted GPS for maps and browsing away from hotspots. Its A4 chip powered a larger canvas than the iPhone, while the on-screen keyboard and aluminium body made it a distinct alternative to a notebook. The design had no cameras, so it could display photographs but could not take them or make video calls. The Wi-Fi-only first-generation iPad offered the touchscreen experience for use around wireless networks.
