The 13-inch Wi-Fi iPad Air with M2 introduced a larger Air in 2024, giving documents and drawing apps more space without entering the Pro range. Alongside the expanded screen, M2 replaced the previous Air’s M1, and the landscape front camera suited calls with the tablet on a desk. Starting storage rose to 128GB, while Pencil Pro support expanded the drawing options. Its LCD retained a 60Hz refresh rate, so the larger canvas did not bring ProMotion. The cellular 13-inch M2 iPad Air made that larger workspace available with mobile data.
