About This Mac

The iPhone 15 brought several Pro-style changes into Apple’s standard 6.1-inch range, including Dynamic Island and a 48MP main camera. That camera supplied a useful 2x sensor-cropped view alongside the ultra-wide lens, giving more framing flexibility than the iPhone 14. USB-C replaced Lightning, reducing the need for a separate charging cable, while contoured edges softened the aluminium body. A16 Bionic powered the changes, but the display stayed at 60Hz and the USB connection used USB 2 speeds, so the new connector did not mean faster file transfers.
