The 27-inch LED Cinema Display enlarged Apple’s notebook-friendly display concept in 2010, using a 2560-by-1440 panel for more working space. A built-in camera, speakers and USB hub reduced the number of separate desktop accessories, while MagSafe charged a compatible notebook. It used Mini DisplayPort for video and a separate USB connection for its camera and hub. The later 27-inch Thunderbolt Display looked similar but added different connection capabilities, so identifying the model matters: this Cinema Display did not provide Thunderbolt expansion or built-in Ethernet.
