About This Mac

The eighth-generation cellular iPad combined LTE with the standard iPad’s 2020 performance update, retaining the familiar 10.2-inch body. A12 Bionic replaced A10 Fusion, giving games and creative apps more processing and graphics headroom. It also brought the Neural Engine to the standard iPad for supported machine-learning tasks, while Pencil and Smart Keyboard support carried over. Starting storage remained 32GB, a tight allowance for anyone keeping many games, videos or large documents locally. The Wi-Fi-only eighth-generation iPad kept the performance for use on home, school and office networks.
