About This Mac

The cellular iPad Air 3 combined LTE connectivity with the Air range’s return in 2019, bringing a larger 10.5-inch screen. A12 Bionic replaced A8X for more demanding apps, while first-generation Pencil and Smart Keyboard support expanded its uses for notes and writing. True Tone adjusted the display’s white balance to surrounding light, adding comfort to its larger reading canvas. The design retained Lightning and a Home button, with a 60Hz screen rather than ProMotion. The Wi-Fi-only iPad Air 3 offered the Pencil and keyboard support around wireless networks.
