About This Mac

The cellular iPad Air 4 paired LTE with the Air’s new flat-sided design in 2020, keeping mobile data available beyond Wi-Fi. A larger 10.9-inch display made better use of the front, while A14 Bionic replaced A12 for more demanding apps. USB-C and second-generation Pencil support brought more flexible connections and magnetic Pencil charging. The display remained at 60Hz, so the Air did not gain the Pro range’s smoother ProMotion scrolling. The Wi-Fi-only iPad Air 4 shared the A14 chip and USB-C connection for use around wireless networks.
