About This Mac

The Wi-Fi iPad mini 6 reworked the small iPad in 2021, replacing the old Home-button layout with a larger 8.3-inch screen and top-button Touch ID. A15 Bionic replaced the mini 5’s A12, giving demanding apps more headroom, while USB-C simplified connections to external accessories. Second-generation Pencil support enabled magnetic attachment and charging, removing the earlier Pencil’s Lightning charging arrangement. Its compact screen remained better suited to focused tasks than spreading several documents across the display. The cellular iPad mini 6 added mobile connectivity to this small drawing and reading device.
