About This Mac

The sixth-generation cellular iPad mini added 5G to a substantially redesigned small tablet in 2021, with GPS for location-based use away from Wi-Fi. Its larger 8.3-inch screen fitted into a compact body, while A15 Bionic replaced A12 for more demanding apps. USB-C and second-generation Pencil support made charging and drawing more convenient than on the Lightning-based mini 5. The small canvas remained a compromise for working across several apps or detailed documents. The Wi-Fi-only sixth-generation iPad mini kept the redesigned body for use around wireless networks.
