About This Mac

The first 11-inch cellular iPad Pro combined LTE with the smaller Pro’s 2018 redesign, replacing the earlier 10.5-inch format. Face ID replaced the Home button, and A12X added processing headroom for creative apps. USB-C took over from Lightning, while the redesigned second-generation Pencil attached magnetically and charged on the side. Losing the headphone jack and changing the Pencil connection meant the new design also disrupted existing accessory setups. The Wi-Fi-only first-generation 11-inch iPad Pro offered the Face ID design and A12X chip around wireless networks.
