About This Mac

The third-generation 11-inch cellular iPad Pro introduced 5G in 2021, alongside the move from A12Z to M1. M1 gave demanding creative apps more headroom, while Thunderbolt made faster external storage a practical option. The ultra-wide front camera introduced Center Stage for keeping people framed during calls. Its ProMotion LCD carried over, so the smaller model did not gain the mini-LED HDR display introduced on that year’s 12.9-inch Pro. The Wi-Fi-only third-generation 11-inch iPad Pro shared the M1 chip and Thunderbolt connection for use around wireless networks.
