About This Mac

The third-generation 12.9-inch cellular iPad Pro brought LTE to the large Pro’s more compact 2018 redesign. Slimmer borders and Face ID replaced the Home-button layout, making the same workspace easier to carry. A12X increased processing headroom, while USB-C replaced Lightning for more flexible connections to displays and accessories. The change also removed the headphone jack and required the redesigned second-generation Pencil, so older accessories needed checking. The Wi-Fi-only third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro offered the large display and A12X performance around wireless networks.
