About This Mac

The fourth-generation 12.9-inch Wi-Fi iPad Pro was a measured 2020 update to the 2018 design, with changes centred on cameras and graphics. LiDAR added depth sensing for augmented reality, and an ultra-wide rear camera broadened framing options beyond the previous single camera. A12Z gained an extra graphics core, while starting storage doubled to 128GB for larger projects. The large LCD and overall body remained familiar, so this was a refinement rather than a wholesale redesign. The cellular fourth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro added mobile data to the large-screen hardware.
