The early-2015 13-inch MacBook Air refined the familiar aluminium wedge with Broadwell processors and newer integrated graphics. Faster flash storage improved file handling, while Thunderbolt 2 gave compatible peripherals more bandwidth than the early-2014 13-inch MacBook Air. Traditional USB ports, an SD card slot and MagSafe remained useful without adaptors. The update made the established Air more capable, but Apple kept the same non-Retina display and fixed memory, so its strengths still lay in portability and practical connections rather than screen quality or later upgrades.
