About This Mac

The 2022 M2 MacBook Air replaced the familiar wedge with a flatter, lighter design and a larger 13.6-inch display. Compared with the M1 MacBook Air, its brighter screen, sharper 1080p camera and improved speakers made everyday work and calls more comfortable. MagSafe returned too, leaving both USB-C ports free while charging, and M2 added processing capacity without introducing a fan. The redesign broadened the Air’s appeal, but it still supported only one native external display and favoured quiet portability over sustained heavy workloads.
