About This Mac

The three-port 14-inch MacBook Pro covered the M3 Pro and M3 Max versions of Apple’s late 2023 update. A new graphics architecture brought hardware ray tracing to compatible applications, while higher memory options on selected Max configurations opened up larger creative projects than before. The display also became brighter for ordinary content, and space black joined the finishes. Alongside the two-port 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro, this version offered more connectivity and processing headroom, but configuration mattered: Pro and Max chips had different strengths, memory limits and battery demands.
