About This Mac

The standard M4 MacBook Pro made the 14-inch entry model more rounded in 2024. Compared with the two-port 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro, it started with 16GB of memory and added a third Thunderbolt port, easing multitasking and desk connections. The M4 chip increased processing capacity, while a 12MP Centre Stage camera and brighter outdoor display improved calls and working in strong light. It retained the XDR screen and useful built-in ports, although its memory and external expansion capabilities still differed from the Pro and Max versions.
