About This Mac

The eighth-generation Wi-Fi iPad kept the seventh generation’s 10.2-inch design in 2020, with its main advance hidden inside. A12 Bionic replaced A10 Fusion, giving games and creative apps more processing and graphics headroom. It also brought the Neural Engine to the standard iPad for supported machine-learning tasks, while Pencil and Smart Keyboard support carried over. Starting storage remained 32GB, a tight allowance for anyone keeping many games, videos or large documents locally. The cellular eighth-generation iPad added mobile data to the A12 upgrade.
