About This Mac

The Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 refined the original Air in 2014, becoming thinner while making its display and performance more useful for everyday work. The fully laminated screen reduced the gap between image and glass, and its anti-reflective coating helped in bright surroundings. A8X and more memory improved processing and multitasking headroom, while Touch ID made unlocking simpler. It retained the 9.7-inch format and had no Apple Pencil support, so handwritten input still depended on less capable styluses. The cellular iPad Air 2 added mobile data to the slimmer Air.
