About This Mac

The Wi-Fi iPad Air 4 gave the Air a major redesign in 2020, replacing its Home button with Touch ID in the top button. A larger 10.9-inch display made better use of the front, while A14 Bionic replaced A12 for more demanding apps. USB-C and second-generation Pencil support brought more flexible connections and magnetic Pencil charging. The display remained at 60Hz, so the Air did not gain the Pro range’s smoother ProMotion scrolling. The cellular iPad Air 4 added mobile data to that redesigned Air.
