About This Mac

The cellular iPad mini 6 made the redesigned small iPad more independent in 2021, adding 5G alongside GPS for use away from Wi-Fi. A15 Bionic replaced the mini 5’s A12, giving demanding apps more headroom, while USB-C simplified connections to external accessories. Second-generation Pencil support enabled magnetic attachment and charging, removing the earlier Pencil’s Lightning charging arrangement. Its compact screen remained better suited to focused tasks than spreading several documents across the display. The Wi-Fi-only iPad mini 6 offered the redesigned screen and Pencil support around wireless networks.
