About This Mac

The first 11-inch Wi-Fi iPad Pro replaced the 10.5-inch model in 2018, fitting a larger display into a new flat-sided design. Face ID replaced the Home button, and A12X added processing headroom for creative apps. USB-C took over from Lightning, while the redesigned second-generation Pencil attached magnetically and charged on the side. Losing the headphone jack and changing the Pencil connection meant the new design also disrupted existing accessory setups. The cellular first-generation 11-inch iPad Pro added mobile data to that new 11-inch format.
