The Studio display released in 2022 accompanied the Mac Studio and was marketed as a baby version of the XDR display at less than half the cost but not including some of the professional features found in the XDR. Still, this 27-inch 5k display offered 600 nit brightness and support for 1 billion colours as well as a 12MP camera and three-mic array. The Studio display has been criticised for its price point with plenty of other similar monitors available just without the Apple polish.
