About This Mac

The Wi-Fi iPad mini 4 gave the mini a more substantial redesign in 2015, reducing its thickness and weight while keeping the 7.9-inch screen size. A8 replaced A7, while a fully laminated display brought the image closer to the glass and reduced reflections. An improved rear camera made document capture more useful, and extra memory helped with multitasking. Despite those changes, it had no Apple Pencil support, limiting its role as a handwritten notebook. The cellular iPad mini 4 added mobile data to this slimmer mini.
