About This Mac

The 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro made a substantial internal step beyond the 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro. Six-core processors, including a Core i9 option, and a new 32GB memory ceiling allowed more demanding work, while True Tone and the T2 security chip broadened the update. Optional Radeon Pro Vega graphics arrived later in the model’s life for more intensive graphics tasks. The Touch Bar case and four Thunderbolt ports remained, however, and the revised butterfly keyboard still used the same shallow mechanism.
