About This Mac

The second 12-inch MacBook refined Apple’s smallest Retina laptop rather than changing its shape. Skylake Core m processors, updated integrated graphics and faster flash storage gave everyday tasks more room to breathe than on the original 2015 MacBook. Apple also raised its wireless web battery estimate by an hour and added rose gold to the finishes. The fanless design still made sense for quiet, lightweight work, but its single USB-C port remained a compromise when charging and connecting accessories together.
