The 2019 MacBook Pro saw minor updates to the hardware of the machine including updating the processor to slightly newer models and new materials used for the keyboard to provide a better feel and experience for the consumer. This generation was the first to see the 15 inch models – released alongside the 13 inch – to have the option of Intels new i9 chip and would be the last Macbook generation to feature the ‘butterfly’ keyboard system.
