All systems provided come in 100% full working order and with our industry leading warranty. The conditions we describe below are only in relation to the cosmetic appearance of our machines. We never supply systems with technical faults unless clearly stated in the condition description. When pricing a system the condition grade is an attributing factor and a reduction of price will be seen on lower grades.
During the assessment stage of our system, we use a measure we call the 80% rule. This rule is our boundary for battery replacement. Our technicians look at the full charge capacity of the laptop vs the design capacity as well as cycle count. If this falls below what we regard as less than 80% of the original battery life we fit the system with a brand new battery.
The batteries we supply have at minimum 80% of the original design capacity. Even our oldest systems should provide at least 3+ hours of battery life with general usage.
Please note this is not Guaranteed as all users use their laptops In different ways. This figure is an average taken using a wide range of systems.
To ensure the robustness of all our products we employe a well-practised testing procedure that covers all system components. Using leading-edge diagnostics tools, the same of which is used by Apple were able to identify any inconsistencies well before they reach consumers. In addition to this, a 32 point exam which our Apple Certified technicians check by hand the total functional validity of the system. This exam includes but is not limited to test such as keyboard key-strokes, wifi & Bluetooth and accessory connecting.

It’s not just people who need a little R&R. During our testing process, any components which are flagged will be repaired or replaced with new parts. Furthermore, we replace out-of-date storage technology with upgrade solid-state or fusion systems. This means our Macs will last the rigorous test of time with improvements to stability and reliability.

Double check & triple check. Prior to the listing of each system, they’re thoroughly cleaned and sent through our Quality Assurance team. Our QA team re-run our 32 point system check process to ensure hardware & software is fully functional. Then finally a condition assessment is made with a detailed inspection of any applicable imperfections with a grade given to each machine at the end. This condition grade is seconded by the sales team who list our products.

iMacs are Apple’s all-in-one desktop. There is nothing quite like the iMac and it’s refined experience is unmatched. The roots stem back to some of the original Apple desktops however the design is certainly well developed with its aluminium chassis compared to it’s older plastic counterparts.
Current refurbished models that we stock come with 21.5-inch and 27-inch in addition to the newer 4K and 5K screen resolutions. During the refurbishment process of our iMacs, we do some internal upgrades to memory and storage and these are configurable for you at time of purchase.
Our range typically starts from 2012 models to the latest 2019 and even iMac Pro workstations. If you’re looking for a performance iMac we would steer you further towards the 27-inch models as from factory they shipped in higher possible specifications and offer better cooling. All that means a quicker real-world experience in applications such as the Adobe Suite or Logic Pro x.
For home use or for an office computer one of our used iMac 21.5-inch systems would be ideally suited with around 8GB of memory. If you’re unsure which iMac is suitable for you or there may be some additional features and functions you’re looking for then ask our team. They’re always happy to help!

Our 24-inch refurbished iMacs come with a keyboard and mouse, however, our 27-inch and 21.5-inch iMacs do not; however, you can add them when you purchase for just £65.
At MacFinder, we guarantee that our refurbished iMacs are as good as new, in like-new working condition. Whilst they may not always come with the original box, they work as well as if you’ve just bought it from Apple directly.

Apple M-series Macs use one pool of memory for both the processor and graphics. Refurbished items can vary in condition, but we’ve tried to make things simple at MacFinder. We split items into three categories.
New (Unsealed)
On newer models, it’s more likely we will have items that come in their original box like they’re new. Sometimes these items have been used for days before we get them, and on some occasions, they are fresh from distributors. We say unsealed because nothing goes without testing, and we must be able to change the configuration for you if required.
Standard Condition
The product is in good condition and expected for its model and year. It may have a few scratches, minor dents or marks that show expected wear and tear. Our technicians have guidelines during preparation that separate any devices we consider to have cosmetic imperfections.
Cosmetic Imperfections
If you’re budget conscious, an item with cosmetic imperfections can be the ideal solution. We cannot stress enough that the defects are only cosmetic, and the systems are completely functional without damage to the internal components. All fair condition system components are meticulously inspected and listed on our website with photos in a separate category.

Traditionally, devices came in Silver, but in 2016 Apple started offering Space Grey, Gold or Rose Gold. Newer models can come in up to 7 different colours.
