In the later months of 2013, the world saw an increase in options on the ‘Pro’ range of Apple laptops by offering new 4GB and 16GB RAM options to go with the previous 8GB offered by Apples older model. This change also saw Apple moving to the “Haswell” generation of Intel processors with three 4th generation options available. However, the biggest change for this model was the adoption of PCI based storage which would enable a 1TB solid state option therefore overcoming the previous 768GB storage limit offered from 6Gb/s SATA in Apples Early 2013 model.
